Condition Notes

When a MD Laser Head starts to fail, Record, Divide, Combine operations will always fail, although Playback may still be OK

These Laser Heads are Service Spares in their original Sony factory packing, as they have been sitting for a long time in spares cabinets
and to make sure they work correctly, All have been Recently tested One By One ( Playback, Record, Divide, Title ADD Operations )
In a MDS303 test minidisk Deck,

ALL Heads we supply are guaranteed to work correctly

Please Note that replacing a laser head in any minidisk recorder requires a complete re-adjustment
via the service menu, using the Sony recommended test disks and tools for this,

The most critical of all adjustments is the Laser Power during recording,

this must be set correctly otherwise premature head failure may occur

Sales are limited to Service Centers Only having all required test equipment to replace mini disk lasers,
